From March through November the Zia Roamers camp together throughout New Mexico over the second full weekend of the month. We frequent State Parks, Federal campgrounds, and privately owned RV parks. The Chapter campout is scheduled for Friday through Sunday morning, but some members arrive earlier and working members usually arrive on Friday evenings. The typical campout will include physical and table games, crafts, tours, excursions and meals together.
In November, December and February the Zias schedule luncheons, usually on the second Saturday of the month. This allows those who can no longer camp to join in the fellowship. In addition, we plan two or three additional activities during the year.
The Zia Roamers support the Dogs for the Deaf as a charity sponsored by the Good Sam Club. We also actively support a number of different local charities.
We invite you to experience for yourselves the fun and fellowship that members of the Zia Roamers enjoy together as a Good Sam Chapter. Try us out and see if we are a group you would enjoy. For information about meeting the Zia Roamers to see what we are all about, contact the following:
